  6. This is a demo version of Guitar Fret Master Pro by Bob Stanley.

  8. * Download mus/misc/gfmaster.lha
  9. * de-archived to ram:
  10. * double click on gfm icon
  11. * or read the doc
  12. * If you want to run from floppy then you will need the following files on
  13.   the disk in the libs drawer:
  14.   Arp.Library and Powerpacker.Library
  15. * Then you will have to create a startup-sequence to boot a workbench
  16.   or autorun the program.
  17.   Sorry about all this hassle, but I don't make the rules.

  22.         GFMaster plays and displays a collection of Scales/Arpeggio's
  23.          and Examples for you to learn, thus helping your guitar
  24.          playing, I hope?.  Once a scale has been selected from the
  25.          menu it will:

  27.           * Play the correct note's in that scale.
  28.           * Display the finger positions along the neck.
  29.           * Display the Tablature for the selected scale.

  33.          This demo version contains a total of 41 scales/arps/examples
  34.          which are:

  36.          * Scales Menu:    Major Scales   : C, D, E, F#, Ab, Bb
  37.                            Alternative    : Db, Eb, F, G, A, B
  38.                            Stretch        : C, Eb, F#, Bb
  39.                            C Maj Extended : First String Shift

  41.          * Harmonic Menu:  Harmonic Minor : D, G, A[1]
  42.                            Melodic Minor  : C, D, G, A
  43.                            Pentatonic     : G maj, G min, A min, D min
  44.                            Extended Pent  : A, D, E (All minor flat 5)

  46.          * Exercises Menu: Exercises      : 1, 5, 13
  47.                            Arpeggio's [1] : 2, 8, 16, 86

  50. Like I said, this is a slightly disabled version and in this
  51.          demo you cannot:

  53.           * Alter the playing speed.
  54.           * Turn the sound ON/OFF.
  55.           * Turn the Scale Shape ON/OFF
  56.           * Save a screen as IFF.
  57.           * Or use the Print options.

  59.          Also:

  61.           * In this demo, when you select a scale, etc. the info icon
  62.             is displayed for about 5/6 seconds.  This does not happen
  63.             in the full version.

  65.           * And, the scale will only play once, unlike the complete
  66.             version, which repeats the scale until a mouse button is
  67.             pressed.

  72.          get when you buy the complete version of GFMaster [F1-132].

  87.             guitar from it's birth up to the present day.  The Guitar
  88.             also includes information on string types, Tips on looking
  89.             after your guitar, Tuning your guitar plus an introduction
  90.             into understanding Tablature.

  92.          Guitar Fret Master can be bought from; F1 Software (formally
  93.          F1 Licenceware) and any of the other PD Libraries named on
  94.          the intro screen by asking for disk No F1-132 and should cost
  95.          £3.99 plus a little for post and packing.
